DESCRIPTION:
Frozen Elliott Pitted Dark Sweet Cherries are prepared from the properly ripened fruit of commercial dark sweet cherry varieties. The fruit is carefully harvested and handled rapidly prior to processing. The cherries are then size graded, destemmed, washed, sorted, drained and elliott pitted. The cherries are then packed and frozen in accordance with good commercial practices and maintained at 0 degrees F or less for best preservation of this product.
PACKAGING:
May be vacuum packed in poly lined cartons at a net weight of 40 lbs., or may be packed in poly-lined barrels at a net wt of 400#, at customer request.
STORAGE LIFE AND HANDLING:
Minimum two years under optimum storage conditions.
LABEL DECLARATION:

CODING:
Each container shall be properly labeled indicating the product name, net weight, Cherry Growers Inc.'s name and address. A lot and code number shall be stamped on the container indicating the year and day of pack, the packer, and the sequence of pack.
